Instructional Information

THE TOTS EXPERIENCE
A forty minute class offered to children ages 3-6. The focus of the class is to integrate children with their peers while learning how to skate. Classes offer fine and gross motor skills that help with development throughout their young years. This experience is geared to be fun and enjoyable so that children will want to continue their skating experience while being active.

LEARN TO SKATE
A forty minute class with ten minute free skate. This class includes learning the fundamentals of skating through interactive and positive instruction. Classes will focus on the USA Learn to Skate skill levels including free skating and hockey guidelines. Skaters will build skills to further develop their skating and earn badges along the way.

ADULT LEARN TO SKATE
A forty minute class with ten minute free skate. All levels, ages 16 and older. Classes will offer detailed skating skills in a fun environment that incorporates exercise while building confidence. If the kids can do it, so can the parents!

STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING FOR HOCKEY PLAYERS

​A fifty minute class that provides players with individual attention to correct and enhance learning to provide a strong foundation of skills that can be built upon. POWER SKATING AT IT'S BEST! Stronger skating skills help to build self-esteem and confidence, two qualities essential to becoming a successful leader in a team setting. PRIVATE LESSONS 

The ISA staff works with many skaters who need extra help or want to improve at a faster rate. Available to all ages and levels of skating! • Interested in more ice time? • Not sure what to do after the Basic Skills program? • Is your skater struggling with their current badge level? • Does your hockey player need help with his/her basic skating skills? • Adults looking to keep up with your kids? Or exercise in fun way? Private lessons are for you or your skater and are ideal for both hockey and figure skating!
