Meet The ISA Staff

Jill Pignatiello is the co founder and director of THE Ice Skating Academy. She first started skating at age 5 with a bit of fear. Soon fear turned to passion and skating became a huge part of her life. Competitively skated through college and began a coaching career soon after that. Jill works with many inspiring hockey players to get the most out of their stride! She enjoys working with all types of people that want to share the love for skating!

Kendra first found her love for skating by watching the winter Olympics, when she was 10 years old. She was so inspired. She soon became a devoted and competitive figure skater. Her career took off by joining the Ice Capades traveling on tour. Kendra then came home and continued her passion for skating through coaching. 35 years later she still loves the sport and hopes to share the joy of skating with skaters of all ages.

Brigid Wells has been a devoted ice skater since a young age. As she went on to college, she began to work with local skating programs. She has a love for yoga and giving each skater the encouragement they need to succeed. Brigid  believes that patience and understanding go a long way to helping each skater succeed and reach their goal.

Most of you know me as Devo!  I am thrilled to be on staff with ISA!! As a competitive skater I trained in Lake Placid NY under the direction  of Gustave Lussi, Howard Nicholson and Tom Lescinsky!  My love of skating has given me many years of coaching skaters young and old!  Nothing is more gratifying when my skater has the, “ Aha moment! “

Kansas has been with the Ice Skating Academy since it established in 2011. She was a figure skater for 10 years and although she stopped taking lessons as a senior in high school, her passion for the sport has never gone away. Now Kansas is a kindergarten teacher and shares her love of working with children in the classroom. She loves helping new skaters gain confidence in their abilities on the ice!
