My passion for skating has always been apart of me. As my schooling became a bigger role in my life, I wanted to teach... Teach school? Yes! Or so I thought... I started to teach ice skating at the age of 18 and was able to turn my passion into creating the Ice Skating Academy.. My dream, my vision began to take off..
My goal with the ISA has always to been to bring people back to the rink! The Haverhill Veterans rink was where I took my first skate as a tot. I wanted to be able to offer skating to anyone who had an interest. Keeping cost low, offering scholarships and encouraging families to skate together is what keeps the ISA driving in the community. At the end of each lesson, family is invited to skate with their skater.. Seeing all the smiling faces during family skate is the best reward I could ask for! Thank you, Jill
